The Seymour Duncan SD01088 SH-4 humbucker pickup, also known as the JB model, is one of the most popular pickups ever. Designed for a wide range of musical styles, from blues and country to punk, hard rock, and grunge, this pickup delivers a sound that always sounds perfect.

The JB Model humbucker is known for its high output, which provides increased sustain and harmonics. Combine it with a 500k volume pot for a great high-end cutting effect, or use a 250k pot for a softer tone in smoother styles. For the most adventurous musicians, this pickup can also be used in the neck position for an extra full soloing experience.
Entirely handcrafted in our Santa Barbara, CA, factory, the JB uses an Alnico 5 bar magnet and features a nickel silver base plate. A 4-conductor lead wire offers various connection options, including series, parallel, and split coil, while vacuum wax potting ensures a noise-free performance.
