The NUX TRIDENT NME-5 is an advanced guitar modeling processor specifically designed for both live performance and studio use. Its rugged, mono-cast aluminum chassis makes it perfectly equipped to handle the rigors of the stage. At the heart of the Trident is the powerful TSAC-4K Amp Modeling technology, which utilizes two DSPs—one for effects and one for amp models—to deliver unprecedented tone quality and precision. This modeling engine offers 27 amp models with extensive control options such as HIGH/LOW inputs, patch cord jumping, and voicing toggles.

The Trident offers unprecedented connectivity options, including a SEND/RETURN effects loop, XLR outputs, a headphone output, EXP PEDAL input, MIDI IN/OUT, and a USB-C audio interface. It also features 27 cab IRs and 32 slots for third-party IRs, with adjustable mic positioning and EQ options. The Trident Edit software allows for easy management of IRs and recording directly into your DAW. With a built-in 30-second looper (PRE or POST), it’s also ideal for creative phrasing and live looping. The intuitive knob and footswitch layout is inspired by traditional stompboxes, giving you direct control over your sound.
