Under the motto "Redefining Tradition and Innovation," CASIO presents the AP-750, a cabinet-style digital piano, the new flagship model in the Celviano series. Equipped with the newly developed Grandphonic sound system, the Smart Hybrid Hammer Action keyboard (Celviano Edition), and advanced features like the Visual Information Bar, this CASIO addition to the digital piano lineup offers a wealth of innovation in the mid-range segment.
In addition to the three world-famous grand piano sounds Berlin, Hamburg, and Vienna, other piano sounds called Classical Piano Repertoire provide a great sound, whose aesthetics are specially tailored to the classical repertoire of selected musical eras.
In addition to the flagship AP-750, CASIO is introducing two other new Celviano models, the AP-550 and AP-S450 (S for "slim"), which are presented in exceptionally compact housings. The AP-750 is available in elegant black, while the AP-550 and AP-S450 models are each available in black, brown, and white.
All new Celviano products are expected to be available at specialist retailers in early March.
GRAND PIANO SOUNDS TO FALL IN LOVE WITH
The Celviano AP-750 integrates the high-quality AiR Grand Sound Source, also used in the flagship CELVIANO Grand Hybrid series. This includes the sounds of three world-renowned concert grand pianos: the Berlin Grand, Hamburg Grand, and Vienna Grand. The Berlin Grand sound was developed in collaboration with C. Bechstein.
The AP-550 and AP-S450 also include two high-quality grand piano sounds sourced from the Multi-Dimensional Morphing AiR Sound Source.
The AP-750 features the innovative Grandphonic Sound System, a new 4-channel, 8-speaker system. By accurately reproducing the resonances of a grand piano and the refined distribution of its sound elements, a natural sound impression is achieved. Casio's unique acoustic construction ensures that the sound is transmitted throughout the entire instrument, creating the resonant tones characteristic of a grand piano. Instead of just hearing the sound from the speakers, you can feel the subtle harmonics and breadth of the sound as if the piano were right in front of you. The AP-550 is equipped with a 2-channel, 4-speaker amplification system and features a refined design to ensure natural sound dispersion. Both the AP-750 and AP-550 feature a unique Casio design that allows the top lid of the piano to be opened, resulting in an impressively clear, spacious sound reminiscent of opening the grand lid of a grand piano. Also equipped with a 2-channel, 4-speaker amplification system, the sleek AP-S450 features two main speakers that fire upwards for authentic powerful sound.
SMART HYBRID HAMMER ACTION - CELVIANO EDITION
The popular and advanced Smart Hybrid Hammer Action keyboard has been optimized for the new CELVIANO models. This wooden hybrid keyboard incorporates the characteristics of high-quality grand piano keys, combining physical mechanisms that utilize the weight of hammers with advanced digital technology that controls the feel and tonal response of each key. This innovation enables expressive performances that authentically respond to the pianist's emotions and can be adapted to various playing techniques, just like a grand piano. Furthermore, the stability of the keyboard action has been enhanced to accommodate the subtle nuances of sophisticated classical piano pieces.
