The Stentor SR1400F2 is a 1/4-size violin set from the Student I series, ideal for young children starting violin lessons. The violin features a solid spruce top and solid maple sides. The back is also solid, resulting in a bright and vibrant tone. The fingerboard is black-stained hardwood, with high-quality dark hardwood tuners and chin piece for reliability and playing comfort.
The set comes with a Brazilwood bow with genuine horsehair and an ebony frog, and a sturdy, lightweight case with a blue fabric cover, music pocket, reflectors, and shoulder straps. The lightweight string holder with four fine tuners makes tuning easy and accurate. A complete and solid starter set for young violinists.
