The Salvador Cortez CS-80 is the first model in the line built entirely with solid woods. Its solid European spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides deliver a bright, lively sound with a full, responsive tone. Compared to laminated guitars, this model offers greater complexity and dynamics. The tone is friendly and forgiving, making it appealing to a wide audience. It's an ideal entry point into the world of all-solid classical guitars.
The fingerboard and bridge are made of Indian rosewood, and the neck is mahogany. As with all Salvador Cortez models, the CS-80 features an adjustable truss rod, allowing for better tuning and easier maintenance. The high-gloss finish, comfortable neck profile, and decent build quality make this model a strong choice in its price range.
