Description
Description
The PRS SE Silver Sky Derby Red is an electric guitar developed in collaboration with guitarist John Mayer. This guitar combines the iconic Silver Sky design with PRS quality and playability. The poplar body, bolt-on maple neck, and rosewood fretboard provide a comfortable playing experience and a balanced tone. The special 635JM neck profile, 8.5-inch fretboard radius, and 22 frets make the guitar comfortable for both chords and solos. The Derby Red finish, signature PRS Bird inlays, and inverted Silver Sky headstock give the instrument its distinctive look.
The three PRS 635JM "S" single-coil pickups deliver a full, warm tone with bright highs and the character of classic single-coil pickups. The 5-way pickup selector, volume control, and two tone controls make it easy to switch between different sounds for blues, pop, funk, and rock. The PRS 2-Point Steel Tremolo allows for subtle vibrato effects, while the vintage-style tuners contribute to stable tuning. Thanks to the 25.5-inch scale length and the included PRS gig bag, the SE Silver Sky is a versatile electric guitar for home, rehearsals, and performances.
