The Ashdown Woodsman Classic is a versatile acoustic guitar amplifier with warm, natural tone and smart features for live performance and studio use. This amplifier features two separate channels : one for instruments and one for vocals, each with its own dedicated controls. The guitar channel supports both active and passive pickups , while the microphone channel features a 2-band EQ for vocal optimization.
The built-in reverb can be applied independently to the instrument channel or simultaneously to both channels for a spacious soundstage. Thanks to the notch filter and phase switching, feedback problems can be effectively suppressed, making it ideal for live use. The amplifier is equipped with multiple inputs, including 2 x jacks , aux jack and an XLR/jack combo , as well as an XLR DI output for direct connection to a mixing console or recording device.
