NitorLACK N167012108 is a dual-coat polyurethane lacquer in the color Shell Pink , a rare and striking Fender custom color used between 1960 and 1963. Based on the color of the 1956 Desoto automobiles ( DUCO 2371 ), Shell Pink was a bold choice within the Fender color palette. Although later replaced by Candy Apple Red, this soft pink shade remains popular with enthusiasts of unique vintage finishes—especially when paired with a white pickguard and maple fingerboard on Stratocasters and Telecasters.

This lacquer is part of the professional NitorPOL series , which offers high scratch and impact resistance, excellent coverage, fast drying, and long-lasting protection against discoloration. For optimal workability, the mixing ratio is 2:1 with hardener ref. 100144 , and a 10% dilution with Nitorlack solvent is recommended.
