NitorLACK N177012108 is a one-component acrylic lacquer in the elegant color Shoreline Gold , inspired by the 1959 Pontiac models. This refined metallic color was used by Fender as a custom color option from 1960 to the end of 1965 , after which it was succeeded by Firemist Gold. Compared to the classic Goldtop, Shoreline Gold has a subtler champagne-like sheen that is very popular for refined guitar finishes.

The lacquer offers even color distribution and a beautiful metallic effect , ideal for use on electric guitars. Because it's an acrylic lacquer, a clear topcoat (polyurethane or nitrocellulose) is required after application. This protects the metallic pigment and adds extra depth to the finish.
