StewMac SM4012 2-in-1 Precision + Serrated Straight Ruler – Short Scale Guitar

The StewMac SM4012 is a professional 2-in-1 measuring tool that combines a precision straight edge and a cut straight edge in a single tool. It's specifically designed for short-scale guitars (24 3/4" – 25"), such as Gibson, Martin 24.9", PRS, and Dobro®. One side is perfectly flat, while the other features precision-cut recesses that sit over the frets, allowing you to directly check the flatness of the fingerboard without the frets interfering.

This American-made tool is milled from extruded 6063 aluminum, black anodized, and finished to within a thousandth of an inch. This straight edge ruler easily measures fingerboard flatness, neck relief, fret levels, and determines whether truss rod adjustments are necessary. An indispensable tool for builders, technicians, and repairers who demand absolute accuracy.
