The SX BD1/BK is a classic J-style electric bass from the Standard Series, finished in a timeless black finish. Featuring dual single-coil pickups, this bass offers a wide range of tones—from bright and cutting to full and warm—ideal for players who want to experiment with different styles. The narrow neck and comfortable offset body shape make this instrument exceptionally comfortable to play, whether standing or sitting.
The body is crafted from solid basswood for a balanced and resonant tone. The neck is made of Canadian maple and has a satin finish for a smooth playing feel. The engineered rosewood fingerboard features 21 nickel frets and white position markers. The BD1 is also equipped with chrome-colored open-gear tuners, a chrome toploader bridge, and a 4-ply white/black/white/tortoiseshell pickguard. A carrying bag is included for safe transport.
