• Flexible sounds: The NOBLE TONE is extremely versatile. At lower drive settings, you maintain clarity and a consistent level when playing softer. • Modern components and improved diodes: The original MA856 diodes are no longer available, but the NOBLE TONE uses the BAS33 silicon diodes, which offer the same clipping behavior at around 0.82 volts. These diodes provide a similar sound to the original version.
• Custom Settings: The pedal features two internal DIP switches that add subtle changes to the knob settings and modes. The internal treble trim pot adds high-end when turned, while the internal mids DIP switch boosts the low-mid frequencies for added punch. The internal gain DIP switch (the Turbo switch) doubles the gain ratio of the second op-amp stage, causing the diodes to clip more easily, and the gain mode delivers even more aggressive distortion.
