Richwood's Songwriter series is designed to deliver a highly focused, voluminous, and inspiring sound, especially for songwriters and strummers. This is achieved through the use of special lattice bracing, which produces a well-defined tone with more punch than traditional X-bracing.

To emphasize this difference, new cosmetic elements have been added, such as wooden bindings, bridge pins, and a rosette made of abalone and wood. The models in this series are also designed without a pickguard.

The SWG-130-CE features a solid Sitka spruce top and ovangkol back and sides. Ovangkol contributes to a powerful tone. The Fishman Isys+ amplification system ensures trouble-free stage performance with ample flexibility in sound tuning.

Like all guitars in the Richwood Master Series, the Songwriter series offers excellent playability with a comfortable neck profile.
