Made of strong carbon steel, these pliers feature a flattened cutting edge that's 10.0 mm wide and only 0.4 mm thick, allowing them to slide effortlessly under the fret. This makes them ideal for delicate refretting work, even with vintage or lacquered fingerboard finishes.
The H-TC10 is not intended for cutting frets—for that, Hosco recommends models like the H-FC190 or H-FC28SS. Its 150mm total length provides sufficient leverage for controlled fret removal. With its precision finish and robust construction, this fret puller is a reliable choice for any luthier or technician.
