The Sire V6 5/BK is a powerful 5-string active bass guitar from Marcus Miller's V6 series, finished in a stylish black sandblasted finish. This modern J-style bass combines a mahogany body with a solid ash top, offering not only impressive looks but also a rich, layered sound. Despite its extra string count, the bass remains lightweight, making it ideal for extended use on stage or in the studio.
The V6 5/BK is equipped with a Marcus Super-J Revolution pickup set and the versatile Marcus Heritage-3 preamp, which offers an active 3-band EQ with no mid control and a passive push/pull function. The rosewood fingerboard with beveled edges (EDGELESS™) and comfortable C-shaped neck provide a smooth playing experience across the full range of five strings. This bass is built for bassists who demand depth and versatility in an elegant and reliable instrument.
