The Sire L5/CAR Larry Carlton is an L-style electric guitar with a classic single-cut body and a warm, versatile sound. The mahogany body provides a full foundation with plenty of sustain, while the LC Standard-2 humbuckers are suitable for blues, rock, and jazz. Thanks to the push-pull coil split, you can easily switch from humbucker to single-coil sounds for added variation.
The mahogany set-in neck with a 24.75-inch scale offers a comfortable playing experience and direct response. The rosewood fretboard with Edgeless rolled edges and 22 stainless steel medium jumbo frets plays smoothly across the entire neck. The Tune-O-Matic bridge with aluminum stop tailpiece ensures stable intonation, while the bone nut and chrome hardware provide a reliable finish.
