The SX SMA600 is a traditionally designed A-style mandolin with a solid spruce top and beautiful flamed okoumé back and sides with a curved back, producing a rich, resonant sound. This mandolin combines classic construction with modern details, such as white ABS bindings and an elegant matte finish in a natural wood color. Its well-balanced tone and comfortable size make this model ideal for both beginners and advanced musicians in genres such as folk, country, and bluegrass.
The nato neck with a rosewood fingerboard plays smoothly, while the 21 nickel frets, white dot inlays, and black fingerboard binding provide clarity and playability. High-quality components such as the bone nut, two-way truss rod, and nickel tuners with mother-of-pearl buttons guarantee reliability and precision. The included padded denim gig bag offers extra protection and comfort – perfect for travel or rehearsals.
