The SX SMF840VS is an all-solid F-style mandolin with a classic vintage sunburst look and a rich, warm tone. Its carved solid spruce top combined with arched solid African mahogany back and sides delivers powerful projection with a warm undertone, ideal for bluegrass, folk, and traditional music. The F-shaped scroll and stylish details give this mandolin a luxurious look rarely found in this price range.
The mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with 29 nickel frets offer a wide tonal range and playing comfort. Mother-of-pearl inlays and a white bound headstock with double purfling accentuate the high-quality finish. Thanks to the precision tuners with a 1:18 gear ratio, sturdy truss rod, and chrome tailpiece, this mandolin is built for reliability. The matte finish provides a natural look and comes complete with a padded denim carrying bag for safe transport.
