The SX SMF860VS is an all-solid F-style mandolin with a striking high-gloss vintage sunburst finish. Featuring a carved solid spruce top and arched solid African mahogany back and sides, this instrument delivers a full, warm tone with plenty of detail and projection. The distinctive F-scroll, classic f-holes, and refined finish make this mandolin a stylish choice for both stage and studio use.
The SMF860VS features a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, 29 nickel frets, and elegant mother-of-pearl dot inlays. The headstock is richly adorned with mother-of-pearl inlays and white ABS binding with black and white purfling, emphasizing its handcrafted character. Nickel tuners with white buttons and a precise 1:18 gear ratio ensure reliable tuning. With an adjustable two-way truss rod, chrome-colored tailpiece, and a sturdy, padded denim gig bag, this is a mandolin built for both quality and durability.
