More information about this Ibanez
More information about this Ibanez
The Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer is one of the best-known overdrive pedals for electric guitar. This reissue retains the classic green design and the recognizable sound of the original model. The TS9 gives your guitar sound warm overdrive with clear midrange tones, allowing you to remain better audible in a band. The pedal responds well to your attack and is suitable for both light overdrive and a heavier rock sound. Thanks to the compact metal enclosure, the Tube Screamer easily fits on your pedalboard.
With the three controls Drive, Tone and Level, you can easily adjust the sound. Drive determines the amount of overdrive, Tone controls the tone color and Level determines the output volume. You can use the TS9 as a standalone overdrive pedal or as a boost for a tube amplifier. With a low Drive setting and a higher Level, you give your amplifier extra power and riffs and solos are rendered more clearly. The pedal operates on a 9V battery or an external 9V DC adapter with center-negative polarity. Thanks to the low power consumption of just 8 mA, the Ibanez TS9 is easy to use with an existing pedalboard power supply.
