SX BJ505 500 Series Bluegrass Banjo - 5-string, 22-fret

The SX BJ505 from the 500 Series is a 5-string bluegrass banjo with a natural matte finish. The Okoume resonator with 5A flamed veneer and maple binding combines a neat finish with a full sound. The Okoume pot, rolled brass tone ring, and 11-inch Remo Fiberskyn head provide a warm, clear sound that is well-suited for bluegrass. The 24 brackets distribute the tension of the head evenly.

The Nato neck and rosewood fingerboard with maple star inlays ensure comfortable playing across the entire 670 mm scale length. The 22 nickel frets have rounded ends for a pleasant grip along the neck. Sealed die-cast tuners with a 1:14 gear ratio ensure accurate and stable tuning. The bone nut and maple bridge with ebony top support a clear tone and good sustain. A padded denim gig bag is included as standard.
