The SX BJ555PVS from the 550 Series is a 5-string bluegrass banjo with a high-gloss Vintage Sunburst finish. The Okoume resonator with 5A flamed veneer and maple binding gives the banjo a classic look. The Okoume pot, rolled brass tone ring, and 11-inch Remo Fiberskyn head provide a warm, clear sound with a distinct attack. The 24 brackets distribute the head tension evenly.

The Nato neck and rosewood fingerboard with maple star inlays ensure comfortable playing across the 670 mm scale length. The 22 nickel frets have rounded ends for a smooth feel along the neck. Planetary tuners with a 1:4 gear ratio make accurate tuning easy. The bone nut and maple bridge with ebony top support the tone and sustain. The BJ555PVS comes with a padded denim gig bag.
