The Fender Shields Blender is an innovative and reimagined version of the legendary Fender® Blender from the '70s, created in collaboration with Kevin Shields, the pioneer of the alternative rock sounds of the '80s and '90s. Shields defined the tone of that era with iconic fuzz sounds, and with this pedal, Fender recaptures the authentic tone of its original Fender Blender with an all-new feature set that takes performance and dynamics to new levels.

Features:

• Reissued Vintage Circuit: The Fender Shields Blender is based on the original fuzz circuit from Shields' own vintage Fender Blender, meticulously recreated to capture the iconic fuzz sounds of yesteryear. This pedal offers guitarists and bassists the authentic tone of classic 1970s fuzz, with the dynamic response and signature fuzz splatter that defined the alternative rock scene of the '80s and '90s.
• Innovative Control and Blending Capabilities: The pedal is equipped with four easily accessible footswitches, allowing you to easily control the fuzz and octave sounds. There are two footswitchable fuzz channels, each with its own volume control, providing the ability to blend the fuzz and clean signal streams. Additionally, you can tune the fuzz and sub-octave fuzz to create a thicker, fuller sound.
• Sag Footswitch: The Sag switch adds sputtering and ducking effects to your sound, allowing you to play dynamically and control the intensity of your fuzz. This creates a whole new dimension of expression, with the dynamics of your playing directly affecting the fuzz sound.
• Powerful performance: The pedal is designed with live performance in mind, with ease of use and flexibility as key features. The four footswitches provide quick access to various tone settings, allowing you to instantly switch between different fuzz options and effects while playing.
