Description
The Cort KX300 OPCB is a high-performance electric guitar with an aggressive look and a powerful, versatile tone. Its mahogany body combined with a Burl Maple top delivers a deep, resonant tone with an extra edge, ideal for everything from hard rock to modern metal. The Open Pore Cobalt Burst (OPCB) finish gives the guitar a unique, natural look with a modern twist.
The bolt-on maple neck with a jatoba fingerboard and a 400mm radius offers a comfortable and fast playing experience. The 24 jumbo frets and a 648mm scale length make this model ideal for both rhythm and lead playing, with a smooth neck thickness of 19.5mm at the 1st fret and 21.5mm at the 12th fret for a firm feel and fast playability.
The EMG Retro-Active Super 77 humbuckers are the real powerhouse of this guitar. These active pickups deliver aggressive output with a vintage warmth , perfect for tight riffs and ripping solos. A 3-way switch, one volume, and one tone control let you easily switch between dynamic cleans and brutal distortion.
The hardtail bridge with string-through-body construction provides maximum sustain and stable tuning , while the sealed machine heads maintain accurate intonation. The Cort KX300 OPCB is an excellent choice for guitarists seeking reliability, strength, and modern playability in a striking design.
