The Dörfler DV16 is a high-quality violin bow from the Pernambuco Nickel-Silver – Basic Bows W. Dörfler collection, specially designed for demanding, advanced violinists. The round bow is crafted from improved Pernambuca wood that has been carefully stored and dried for 30 years. Thanks to its excellent elastomechanical properties, this bow offers a perfect balance of strength, flexibility, and sensitivity – essential for expressive and refined playing.

The ebony frog is fully lined, features a heel plate, and an elegant Parisian eye. The three-pronged end cap with mother-of-pearl inlays and the metal blanc winding provide a refined appearance and a firm grip. This bow brings out the instrument's full tonal potential, exactly as Dörfler intended: in complete harmony between bow and instrument.
