Based on the classic "Stainer Model," this model is part of Scott Cao's conservatory series, inspired by historical master instruments. The cello is entirely handcrafted from premium European spruce for the top and beautifully flamed maple for the back, sides, and neck. The patinated oil-based lacquer gives the instrument an authentic, antique look that complements the character of the original model.

The STC750-STA distinguishes itself with its refined finish, rich tone, and excellent resonance, which only further matures with playing. Thanks to the craftsmanship of experienced luthiers, each cello in this series has its own distinctive sonic personality—a rarity among imported instruments. Although the instrument is unassembled, a custom setup can be arranged by a luthier upon request.
