Hipshot HS20100N BT1 Bass Xtender, for MusicMan® and G&L®, clover key, nickel

Take your music to new depths with the BT1 Bass Xtender! A not-so-secret weapon of elite bassists since 1982, the Xtender allows you to instantly drop and raise the tuning of your low string with the simple flip of a lever. This BT1 is a direct replacement for the Schaller® BM tuner traditionally used on MusicMan® and G&L® basses and is also the tuner of choice for many independent custom builders.

The BT1 lets you drop a major second (ED), and if your strings are standard gauge, you can even go as low as a fourth (EB). The BT1 Bass Xtender is designed with the following features:

- Robust stamped and machined steel construction
- 27:1 voice ratio
- Suitable for 11/16" (17.5 mm) head hole
- Adjustable tension nylon bearing system
- Available long and short keys (short key retrofit G&L®)
- Stainless steel key prevents tarnishing and rust in the areas where you touch the tuner most
- Mounting hardware included
