LAVA ME Air
The LAVA ME Air is a super-thin, light, and smart guitar. Its compact 36-inch ¾ size has a depth of 7.5 cm and weighs approximately 1.8 kg. It's available with a unibody carbon fiber body or with a spruce top and HPL body.
FreeBoost Magnetic System
The integrated FreeBoost Magnetic system gives you studio-quality effects without pedals or an amplifier. The magnetic pickup delivers a clear sound with low feedback. Three digital knobs let you choose presets and adjust parameters. You have access to effects like delay, reverb, drive, chorus, auto-wah, and pitch shift. A tone wheel in the soundhole lets you mix between the pickup sound and an acoustic simulation. The FreeBoost exciter projects effects directly through the top.
Variants and sound
Carbon model
The LAVA ME Air Carbon features a unibody construction made of patented carbon fiber with a built-in truss rod. The material is stiff, light, and stable across temperature and humidity fluctuations. Its honeycomb structure reduces weight and increases stiffness. Asymmetrical bracing and a sound hole in the upper left corner deliver powerful sound projection. Additional ribs protect the body from impact.
Spruce model
The spruce model features a solid spruce top with a warm, full tone. The HPL back and sides make the guitar stable and durable. It weighs approximately 1.99 kg and uses the same FreeBoost effects. You can control all functions via the LAVA+ app. The built-in battery provides up to 15 hours of playtime.
Both models feature a neck and fingerboard made of HPL or carbon, a 597 mm scale, and 17 frets. The lightweight construction and short scale length ensure comfortable playing and stable tuning. The guitar is available in Space Black and Silver.
Operation and connectivity
The three multifunction knobs on top of the guitar let you adjust and combine five presets. An indicator shows which preset is active. You can easily adjust depth, repetition, or mix for each effect. Connect the guitar to the LAVA+ app via Bluetooth to edit effects, create loops, record, and share music. The carbon version offers up to 20 hours of playtime and charges in three hours via USB-C. The spruce version has up to 15 hours of battery life.
