- To follow the curve of the area under your nail, file the back of the pick surface so it fits more snugly against your nail and skin. Do this before adjusting the length for a better fit.
- To reduce stiffness, remove the pressure band completely or partially. For added comfort, smooth any sharp edges. If a metal (brass) pressure band is present, bend it inward to create tension above the nail.
