The Alpha ALP1MG-A39 is a 1 MEG audio taper potentiometer with a solid shaft and a short 0.250" bushing. It's ideal for mounting on pickguards or control plates of guitars such as ST, PB, TE, or JB models. The high resistance of the 1 MEG allows you to retain more high frequencies, resulting in a brighter sound—ideal for those who want to open up their humbuckers.
This potentiometer has a logarithmic (audio) gradient, making it perfect for natural-feeling volume control. A reliable alternative to CTS, it's widely used in guitars from brands like Ibanez, Epiphone, and Squier.
