More information about this Aquila
More information about this Aquila
The Aquila AQ-96C Nylgut is a premium string set for guilele/guitalele instruments with a 17-inch scale, tuned to ADGcea. The set features wound 4th, 5th, and 6th strings and is designed to offer the warm, bright, and responsive touch of traditional gut strings without their disadvantages such as high cost, short lifespan, and instability in changing weather conditions. Aquila's Nylgut® material offers the same acoustic properties as gut but with significantly greater tuning stability and durability.
The AQ-96C delivers the authentic tone familiar to the great uke masters of the 19th and 20th centuries, combined with the convenience and reliability of modern strings. This set is ideal for players seeking a traditional, rich sound with perfect intonation and long lifespan, suitable for both solo and accompaniment.
