Description
The Ernie Ball 2045 Earthwood Silk & Steel is a soft string set for acoustic guitar with gauges 011–052. These strings feature a silk & steel construction with an 80/20 bronze winding and a tinned steel core. You get a warm, round tone with soft highs and a gentle attack.
The low tension plays smoothly and comfortably, with slightly more resistance than extra soft sets. You maintain control with chords and ease of play for fingerstyle. Suitable for long playing sessions and for guitars that benefit from lower string tension.
