Description
The Ernie Ball 2047 Earthwood Silk & Steel is an extra soft string set for acoustic guitar with gauges 010–050. These strings feature a silk & steel construction with an 80/20 bronze winding and a tin-plated steel core. You get a warm, soft tone with less sharp highs and a gentle attack.
The extra low tension plays very lightly and comfortably. Your fingers require less pressure, which is pleasant for long playing sessions or sensitive hands. Ideal for fingerstyle and subtle playing. Also suitable for older guitars that cannot withstand as much string tension.
