The Flight DUC445 Acacia is a concert ukulele with an acacia body and a gloss finish. Acacia belongs to the same wood family as Hawaiian koa and is known for its warm, bright tone. The laminated acacia top and matching back and sides provide clear projection and a balanced sound that works well for chords and melodies.
The 18-fret concert size gives you extra room on the neck, making it easier to play higher up the fretboard and use more chord variations. The African okoume neck feels stable in the hand, and the walnut fingerboard plays smoothly. The arched back supports sound projection and helps give the instrument more volume.
