The Hosco H-FC190 is a traditional Japanese fret cutter, crafted from high-carbon tool steel. These pliers come from a factory with over 85 years of experience producing precision tools using classic Japanese techniques. With an overall length of 190 mm and a blade width of 26 mm, this is a robust and precise fret cutter, ideal for professional use.
The flat, sharp cutting edges allow you to trim fret ends almost perfectly flat and burr-free. This minimizes the need for post-processing during refretting. Note: This fret cutter is not suitable for stainless steel frets. The Hosco H-FC28SS is recommended for this application.
