The Koch CTSE12/C112 Classictone SE is a 100% Class A single-ended tube combo with a pure and dynamic character, specially designed for the guitarist who appreciates simplicity, richness of sound, and response. This 12W tube amplifier uses only one power tube and as few components as possible, allowing the sound to be colored entirely by the tubes. Equipped as standard with an EL34 and 12AX7 , this amplifier offers the possibility of using different power tubes (such as 5881) without having to re-bias, thanks to the auto-bias system .
With a single channel, controls for gain , tone , and volume , and three voicing switches ( mid-boost , bass-cut , and gain-boost ), you can create a wide range of tones, from sparkling clean to rich, saturated overdrive. On the rear panel, you'll find a recording output with speaker simulation , a line-in for external preamps, a speaker on/off switch for silent recording, and a three-position power switch (12W, 4W, standby). The Koch VG12-60 12" speaker delivers a full, musical sound. This combo is perfect for home, studio, or stage.
