The Koch ST40/C112 Studiotone XL is the more powerful brother of the Studiotone 20, and combines authentic Class A tube tone with modern versatility. With 4x EL84 power tubes , 3 preamp tubes (2x 12AX7 + 1x 12AX7LM) and a custom Koch VG12-60 12” speaker, this 40W combo delivers a warm, defined sound, inspired by the iconic British amplifiers of the 60s. Each of the three switchable channels (Clean, Overdrive & Overdrive+) has its own volume control, so you can effortlessly switch between subtle cleans and powerful overdrive with rich tube compression.

Voicing options such as the 2-way Mid Shift and 3-way Bright switch provide additional tonal tailoring, while the rear of the amplifier offers professional features such as a recording out with speaker simulation , effects loop , line outs , headphone out , Power Soak and a speaker on/off switch . With connection options for 4, 8 and 16 Ohm speaker cabinets and an included footswitch, the Studiotone XL is a complete solution for stage, studio and home use.
