Description
The NitorLACK N250784160 Relic Gloss Clear nitrocellulose lacquer is specially formulated for guitarists and luthiers who want to create an authentic "relic" look. This transparent gloss lacquer creates a natural cracked effect that develops a few days after application. The result is an aged appearance, as if the guitar has been played intensively for years.
This varnish is applied as a topcoat after primer, color, and clear coats. Two to three thin coats of Relic Gloss are sufficient to enhance the crackle effect. If desired, this effect can be accelerated or intensified by applying temperature changes to the surface. The varnish is also sandable and polishable for a controlled finish. Thanks to the convenient 400ml spray can, the product is easy to use, perfect for smaller projects or targeted applications.
