Description
NitorLACK N260779108 is a nitrocellulose lacquer in the soft, aged shade Faded Sonic Blue, packaged in a 500ml can for use with a spray gun and compressor. This shade is a more subtle, less saturated version of the classic Sonic Blue (Duco 2295), originally used on 1956 Cadillacs and applied by Fender from 1960 to 1972 on Stratocasters, Telecasters, and other models. This "faded" version reflects the natural aging effect of the lacquer and is widely used today in the Fender Custom Shop.
This lacquer is designed for guitar building and restoration with an authentic vintage character. Its formula, based on original color samples from the 1950s and 1960s, gives Faded Sonic Blue a timeless look and excellent coverage. The lacquer is easy to apply with painting equipment and achieves its best results when diluted with NitorLACK Solvent Medium or Solvent Retard, depending on the conditions during spraying.
