The NUX Lacerate FET Boost is a compact and powerful boost pedal with two boost modes and a built-in voltage doubler , offering enormous dynamics and headroom. Despite its small size, the Lacerate delivers a massive boost of up to +35dB in Crank mode , which is far above the average for standard boost pedals.

Two boost modes:

  • Clean Boost: Increases volume without colorizing the sound, ideal for transparent amplification.
  • Crank Boost: Hold the footswitch to activate a harmonically rich, overdrive-like boost (+35dB).

Voltage Doubler & Dynamic Buffer

The built-in voltage doubler boosts the 9V input to 18V , providing increased headroom and a fuller tone . Additionally, the Lacerate can function as a standalone buffer , helping to keep the signal strong and clear during long effects chains.

True Bypass & Buffer Bypass

  • True Bypass for completely transparent signal passage when the pedal is switched off.
  • Buffer Bypass for an amplified and stable signal, ideal for preventing tone loss in long chains.
  • Switch between bypass modes by turning on the pedal while holding down the footswitch.
