The Richwood RMBM-408 from the Heritage Series is a unique mandolin-banjo hybrid instrument that combines the tuning and playability of a mandolin with the distinctive tone of a banjo. This open-back design with a mahogany rim and neck delivers a powerful, sparkling tone that is always clearly audible in any instrumentation. Its compact size and lightweight construction make this instrument exceptionally comfortable and suitable for both folk and bluegrass music.
Featuring a Remo Weatherking 8” batter head, 12 chrome brackets, and an ebony-topped maple bridge, the RMBM-408 guarantees quality and stability. The neck is equipped with a two-way truss rod for precise adjustment, and the engineered wood fingerboard provides a smooth playing experience. Finished in a high-gloss clear lacquer and equipped with open geared tuners and ivory binding, this instrument is not only sonically appealing but also visually appealing. Tuning: GDAE, like a standard mandolin.
