Thanks to the ultra-low string tension and super-smooth surface, this set transforms any electric bass into an instrument with a distinctive double bass sound, ideal for fretless basses and styles such as jazz, fusion, dub, and reggae .
With a string range of .050 to .135, this set offers smooth playability with a full tone, even in the lower registers. Bassist Herbie Flowers used Tru Bass strings for Lou Reed's Transformer , underscoring their legendary status.
