The Royall CH12/BRS Chess Cutaway is a 12-fret tricone resonator with an okoumé body and a stylish brown satin finish. The cutaway allows for effortless access to the higher frets, making this guitar suitable for melodic and expressive playing. The three hand-spun 6" aluminum cones deliver a rich, layered tone with long sustain, while the wooden body provides a warm, earthy character—perfect for slide, fingerstyle, and traditional resonator sounds.

The satin-finish mahogany neck and wide 46mm nut provide comfortable playability for any playing style. The Tricone aluminum T-bridge and hand-spun resonator cones are tuned in the Royall workshop by skilled resonator guitarists. Every detail is focused on tone and playability. The CH12/BRS comes with a lightweight foam case for safe transport.
