The Salvador Cortez CC-80 is an all-solid classical guitar with a Canadian cedar top and solid mahogany back and sides. This wood combination produces a warm and lively sound that is both friendly and forgiving. Compared to rosewood models, the CC-80 has a softer character with less bass emphasis, making it accessible to many players. The solid construction gives the tone a richer and more complex tone than laminated guitars in the same price range.
The CC-80 features a comfortable neck profile and a built-in double truss rod for easy setup and long-lasting playability. The fingerboard and bridge are made of Indian rosewood, while the nut and bridge are made of real bone. This model is ideal as a first all-solid guitar for the advanced beginner or ambitious student looking for a good-sounding, solid instrument with pleasant playing characteristics.
