The Sire V7 SR4/NTS is a reissue of one of Sire's most beloved models: the swamp ash 4-string active bass in an elegant Natural Satin finish. Originally discontinued in 2021 due to the scarcity of swamp ash wood, this flagship model now returns as a reissue—retaining its characteristic tone and refined appearance. The Marcus Miller design is combined with high-quality electronics and a premium swamp ash body for a powerful, transparent, and responsive sound.
This bass features the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp system with mid-frequency control, allowing you to effortlessly switch between active and passive modes for ultimate control over your tone. The Marcus Super-J Revolution pickups with '60s spacing deliver clarity and detail in every note. The hard maple fingerboard with beveled edges (EDGELESS™) enhances playing comfort, while the Marcus Heavy Mass II bridge guarantees stability and rich sustain. This reissue pays tribute to the golden age of bass design—modern construction, classically inspired.
