The Sire V7 SR4/TBKS is a reissue of an iconic V7 Series model, finished in a stylish Transparent Black Satin finish. This 4-string active bass guitar is built on a swamp ash body with a poplar burl veneer, which not only provides a rich, resonant tone but also a refined aesthetic. Originally discontinued due to a swamp ash shortage in 2021, this beloved model is now back as a reissue—with the same high-quality build quality and modern electronics as before.
At the heart of this bass is the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp with mid-range control and the Marcus Super-J Revolution pickups. Together, they offer a wide range of dynamic tones—from bright and punchy to warm and round, with complete control in both active and passive modes. The hard maple neck and fingerboard with beveled edges (EDGELESS™) ensure maximum playing comfort. Thanks to the new Marcus Heavy Mass II bridge and premium hardware, this instrument is built for durability, tuning stability, and excellent playability.
