Thomastik Infeld TH-IB-03 violin string D-3 4/4 blue, composite core, hydronalium wound

The Thomastik Infeld TH-IB-03 D-3 4/4 violin string set in blue combines an advanced composite core with hydronalium winding. This ensures consistent tension across the string, ensuring tone and response are precisely matched to the other strings in your set. The result is a clear, textured sound with a direct response in both arco and pizzicato, ideal for players who want to fine-tune their tonality within a single brand and string composition.

INFELD's fully tuned tension approach allows you to fine-tune timbre and dynamics without the hassle of tension mismatches. Whether playing classical pieces or experimenting with modern repertoire, this D string maintains stable intonation and prevents unexpected deviations from light or full articulation. Specifically designed for 4/4 violins, the TH-IB-03 offers a reliable, durable option for both advanced players and ambitious beginners seeking consistency in tone and feel.
