More information about this Thomastik Infeld
The Thomastik Infeld TH-S-9ST is a heavy E string for 4/4 size violin. Featuring a flexible multiwire spiral rope core and aluminum winding, this string responds directly and has less inertia, allowing notes to resonate longer and maintaining a stable tone in both arco and pizzicato. This combination of responsiveness and long sustain makes the TH-S-9ST a reliable choice for players seeking consistent precision and projection in daily rehearsals and performances.
Designed for optimal control, this string offers a bright top end and clear intonation, even in the upper registers, without sacrificing power or volume. The heavy gauge provides extra presence in dynamic and orchestral passages, while its durability and long life ensure reliability for regular rehearsal and stage use.
