The Thomastik Infeld THPI-100 4/4 violin string set takes tone and color to a whole new level. The synthetic core (PI strings) delivers a wide dynamic range and a direct bow response, allowing every phrase to respond sharply and your dynamics to be shaped effortlessly. The soft left-hand feel promotes intonation and fingering during long sessions, studio recordings, or performances.
The THPI-100 lets you tailor the tone to your instrument and playing style: choose a tin-, gold-, or platinum-plated E-string for added clarity and power in the highs, and aluminum- or silver-wound D-strings for a balanced midrange and response. Suitable for 4/4 violins, the set includes the THPI-01PT, so you can get started right away with a custom-tailored tone that suits your playing.
