Thomastik Infeld VI-03 violin string D-3 4/4 medium, synthetic core, aluminum wound

The Thomastik Infeld VI-03 D-3 is a medium-weight D string for 4/4 violins. It combines a synthetic core with an aluminum winding, resulting in stable tone and consistent intonation across the entire fretboard. This combination creates clear projection in orchestral and chamber music, without the string sounding too sharp in the upper registers or too dark in the lower range. The VI-03 offers a balanced response, ideal for students developing their tone and for professionals who require quick responses during solo passages. The aluminum winding provides clarity and focus in the upper registers, while the synthetic core provides reliable tension that adapts to various playing conditions. This makes it a thoughtful choice for both beginning violinists and experienced players seeking stability and consistency during performances.
